• Hibernate
• Traditional S3 Sleep
• Modern Standby

Modern Standby can cause network/background activity and heat in closed-bag scenarios on some models.

Common fixes

• Use Hibernate instead of Sleep for transport.
• If platform supports it, switch to S3 sleep.
• Tune power options and wake/network policies.
